Privacy policy

Who we are

Launchwright ("we") runs launchwright.app and the Launchwright pilot. We are the personal information controller for the data described here. For anything about your data, email privacy@launchwright.app.

What we collect

When you apply for the pilot, we collect:

• Your first name, only if you choose to give it, so our emails can greet you.
• Your email address, so we can contact you about the pilot.
• What you want to ship, only if you choose to tell us.
• When you gave consent, so we can show we asked first.

When you sign in to the dashboard with GitHub, we receive your public GitHub profile: your name, username, ID, and profile picture. We keep it in a signed cookie in your browser for up to 7 days so you stay signed in. We don't keep your GitHub access token, and we get no access to your code.

When you visit the site, Cloudflare (our host) processes basic technical data such as your IP address to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across sites. Your light or dark theme choice is saved only in your own browser.

We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell or rent your data.

Why we use it

We use your application only to review it, contact you about the pilot, and plan the cohort. The legal basis is your consent, which you give with the checkbox on the form. You can withdraw it at any time.

Who processes it for us

• Cloudflare, which hosts the site, handles the form, and sends our emails.
• GitHub, which confirms who you are when you sign in to the dashboard.
• Neon, which stores the application database.

These providers may store data outside the Philippines. They process it only to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your application until the pilot ends. If you don't join, we delete it within 30 days after the pilot ends. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will.

How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our providers. Only the Launchwright team can access applications, and the database credentials are never in our code.

Your rights

Under RA 10173 you have the right to:

• be informed about how your data is used;
• access the data we hold about you;
• correct it if it's wrong;
• object to its use, or withdraw consent;
• have it deleted or blocked;
• get a copy in a portable format;
• be compensated for damages from inaccurate or unauthorized use; and
• file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

To use any of these rights, email privacy@launchwright.app. We'll reply within 15 days.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects data we already hold, we'll email you first.
